Humanitarian Aid Efforts
The primary focus of the Lee Tae Seok Foundation is to build up individuals with the knowledge and opportunities to improve the lives of those around them. But sometimes an immediate injection of support is urgently needed, whether that is in the form of food supplies or financial support. While we understand that the Lee Tae Seok Foundation alone cannot be everything for everybody, it is crucial to the beliefs of the members and donors of our Foundation that we help where we can.
Aiding victims of war in Ukraine
In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Foundation has been sending medicine, tents, blankets and financial aid to support Ukrainian refugees fleeing bloodshed.
Building a public health center
The Foundation is providing financial support for the construction of a public health center in Tonj, South Sudan, where patients in the region will be able to readily and reliably access treatment from medical professionals.
Helping to combat COVID-19
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation donated face masks to communities in South Sudan to help fight the spread of coronavirus.
Supporting a once abandoned village
The Foundation regularly sends basic necessities to the villagers of Lychok, most of whom are unable to work due to health issues. From food and beds to agricultural products like pesticides, the Foundation listens to the people of Lychok to understand their most pressing needs.
